The American Chemical Society (ACS) is inviting news media and others interested in the chemical sciences to join the next in a series of ACS Webinars, focusing on scientific careers in publishing. Scheduled for May 13, the free ACS Webinars will feature Dr. Darla Henderson, ACS Assistant Director of Editorial Development, speaking on ‘Chemistry and Communications – a Closer Look at Scientific Careers in Publishing.’
Henderson has more than 11 years of experience in chemistry publishing, and has been with the ACS Publications Division for two years. She currently holds global responsibility for the strategic development and management of a portfolio of general and multidisciplinary journals.
The ACS Webinars connect interested parties with subject experts and global thought leaders in chemical sciences, management, and business to addresses current topics of interest to scientific and engineering professionals. Each webinar includes a short presentation followed by a Q & A session. News media and scientists can tune into the conference without charge, but must register in advance.
