AIP Publishing has announced its collaboration with the Fluid Engineering Institution of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society to launch the International Journal of Fluid Engineering (IJFE), slated for publication in early 2024. This peer-reviewed open-access journal is dedicated to advancing research in the field of fluid science within engineering.
IJFE's scope encompasses comprehensive studies, spanning from fundamental explorations to engineering applications in fluid mechanics, specifically addressing substantial projects, equipment, and strategic products within the engineering domain.
Supported by the Fluid Engineering Institution of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, the journal was founded by Hefei General Machinery Research Institute Co., Ltd., and jointly established with Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, China. It has garnered recognition as a High Starting Point New Journal by the China Association for Science and Technology.
IJFE marks an addition to AIP Publishing's expanding suite of open access titles, aligning with the organization's commitment to academic openness. Among its collection are notable titles like AIP Advances and the APL family of journals, including the recently announced APL Quantum. IJFE, classified as a diamond open-access journal, offers a publishing platform free from author charges, fostering a more accessible and inclusive environment for both publication and readership.
The collaboration between AIP Publishing and the Fluid Engineering Institution is poised to provide a valuable platform for researchers and the broader academic community, promoting knowledge dissemination and the growth of fluid science in engineering on a global scale.
