AIP Publishing has launched a new service enabling authors to receive real-time notifications on their manuscript status through WeChat, enhancing communication throughout the peer review and publication process.
The new feature allows authors to stay informed at every stage of submission and publication. Leveraging WeChat's widely adopted platform, AIP Publishing ensures timely and convenient updates, catering particularly to authors who use this popular app for real-time communication.
Authors can now opt in to receive WeChat alerts regarding their submitted manuscripts’ progress and updates on language-edited papers, figure creations, and other services provided by AIP Author Services.
The WeChat notifications are powered by the WeChat Gateway, a product developed by the Charlesworth Group, a leading China-based digital marketing agency. This partnership brings AIP Publishing closer to its authors by integrating updates into a platform familiar to over 1.3 billion monthly users globally, including more than 1 billion users in China.
By incorporating WeChat, AIP Publishing aims to provide a seamless and accessible communication experience, ensuring that authors are connected 24/7 within a platform they use daily. This initiative underscores the publisher’s commitment to leveraging technology for improved author support and convenience.
AIP Publishing's adoption of WeChat notifications sets a new benchmark for author engagement, reaffirming its dedication to simplifying and enriching the publishing journey.
