The American Journal of Managed Care® (AJMC®), a leading peer-reviewed journal covering critical issues in managed care, has announced the launch of its latest publication, Population Health, Equity & Outcomes (PHEO). This new journal, a rebrand of The American Journal of Accountable Care, reflects the evolving landscape of healthcare and AJMC’s commitment to addressing key issues in population health, equity, and outcomes.

The rebranded journal will focus on the intersection of health policy, medical practice, and population health, with a mission to reduce disparities and enhance access to high-quality, equitable healthcare. Through PHEO, AJMC® aims to become a premier platform for the exchange of research, policy analysis, and expert insights, contributing to improved health outcomes for diverse populations.

The goal of Population Health, Equity & Outcomes is to publish evidence-based studies and thought leadership that inform healthcare providers, policymakers, and stakeholders on strategies to promote equity in care. By focusing on areas such as preventive care, mental health, cardio-renal-metabolic health, and accountable care, the journal seeks to drive measurable improvements in public health and work towards systems that promote equitable access to healthcare for all.

AJMC® remains steadfast in its mission to enhance patient care and improve public health, with Population Health, Equity & Outcomes embodying these core values.
