Publisher AlphaMed Press,US, has announced the promotion of George Kendall as Vice President, Operations & Business Development.
Kendall has managed AlphaMed's journals, Stem Cells and The Oncologist, and related publications, since he joined the company in early 2007 as Director of Operations & Business Development. He brings over ten years experience in scientific and medical publishing management, including at the prestigious Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences where he managed production, marketing and licensing.
In his new position, Kendall will continue to expand the journals' circulation, including international readership and web presence, while ensuring that the journals' core values and high editorial standards for physicians and scientists are kept inviolate.
