Now in its second year, the Rising Star Award, sponsored by Publishers’ Licensing Services, aims to recognize potential in early-career individuals. The award is open to ALPSP members only, with nominators asked to provide a detailed explanation of why their nominee should be considered.

The winners will each receive a free place to attend the ALPSP 2024 Conference in person, plus an allowance towards travel and hotel expenses. Post-conference, they are expected to provide a short report (500-1000 words) about their experience, which will be published on the ALPSP blog or website. Additionally, the four finalists will receive free virtual registration for the conference.

The judges were impressed by the calibre of all nominees and the activities and responsibilities each winner has undertaken, both within their job functions and beyond. The winners come from a diverse array of organizations, both large and small, working in a variety of roles.
