The Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers (ALPSP) has appointed Wayne Sime as its new permanent Chief Executive. Wayne joined ALPSP as Interim Chief Executive in October 2018.
Previously, Wayne Sime was Director of Library Services for the Royal Society of Medicine. He has also worked within the NHS and financial sector. Since 2001, he has been a Chartered Librarian, and in 2009 he became a Fellow of CILIP (Chartered Institute of Library & Information Professionals).
ALPSP has nearly 300 members, in more than 30 countries, who collectively publish over half the world’s total active journals as well as books, databases and other products.
