ALPSP Awards for Innovation in Publishing 2019 -

The Association of Learned & Professional Society Publishers has announced the shortlist for the ALPSP Awards for Innovation in Publishing 2019. The finalists are: BMJ Best Practice from BMJ with 67 Bricks; preLights from the Company of Biologists; Ripeta; and scite.ai from Scite, Inc.

The ALPSP Awards serve to highlight the creativity and development that abounds in the industry with new projects and tools to meet the needs of today’s researchers, authors and publishers.

The finalists will be given the opportunity to showcase their products in a rapid fire session at the ALPSP Conference on September 11. The winners will then be announced at the Conference Awards Dinner on September 12 (www.alpsp.org/conference).

The ALPSP awards are open to any new development, product, service, launch or project which is both innovative and of significant value to scholarly communication. The winners must demonstrate excellence in terms of originality and innovation, significance and value to the community, utility and long-term viability.
