ALPSP members to receive discounts on the Consortium Directory Online -

Marketing services provider Frontline GMS Ltd, UK, and journal supply chain support provider Ringgold, Inc have arranged for small and medium sized members of the Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers (ALPSP) to receive up to 30 percent discount on the Consortium Directory Online (CDO).

The CDO claims to be the most comprehensive directory of the library consortium market. It is a fully searchable database of over 500 library consortia worldwide, and is devised to assist publishers and vendors in dealing with the library consortium market. It enables intuitive search for consortia by name, country or region, institution, vendors licensed, membership type, subject speciality and consortium type.

Each record includes full contact information, including key contacts for licence negotiation, and lists members and publishers licensing to the consortium. Gold subscribers can access information on electronic content acquisition policy, licensing information, consortium structure, plus links to FTE data, member contacts and products acquired by each institutional member.

The CDO is available on organisation-wide subscription. It will be continually updated with consortium changes and mergers, new information, and new consortia as they emerge.
