ALPSP names Dr Audrey McCulloch as Executive Director, UK -

The Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers (ALPSP) recently announced the appointment of Dr Audrey McCulloch to the newly created position of Executive Director, UK. She will join the senior management team of ALPSP and will report to ALPSP Chief Executive, Ian Russell.

In her new position, Dr McCulloch will be responsible for the support of UK-based members of ALPSP, ensuring that they continue to be provided with a range of appropriate member benefits. She will also represent the interests of scholarly and professional publishers to UK bodies, including government, library groups and collective rights organizations.

Dr McCulloch has 10 years of experience working in scholarly and professional publishing. She most recently served as Projects Manager at Portland Press Limited.

ALPSP is the international association for all those involved in research-based publishing. The Association represents scholarly and professional publishers across all disciplines of academic endeavour and claims to be the largest trade association for these kinds of publishers in the world. It has over 350 members in 37 countries who collectively publish over 12,000 journals as well as books, databases and other products.
