Open access publisher BioMed Central, UK, has announced that its new journal Alzheimer's Research & Therapy is currently accepting submissions. The journal forms part of BioMed Central's growing portfolio of selective journals publishing translational research of exceptional interest, as well as authoritative reviews and commentaries.
An international open access journal, Alzheimer's Research & Therapy aims to be a major forum for translational research into Alzheimer's disease. The journal will publish basic research with a translational focus, as well as clinical trials, research into drug discovery and development, and epidemiologic studies. Although the journal's primary focus is Alzheimer's dementia, the scope will encompass other neurodegenerative disease. Review articles and expert commentary will accompany key papers.
The journal is edited by Professors Doug Galasko, Todd Golde and Gordon Wilcock. They are supported by an international Editorial Board.
