The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has announced the debut of an app for the Apple iPad that provides instant mobile access to the entire AAP eBook collection. The AAP eBookstore app for the iPad can be downloaded from Apple’s App Store.
The app was custom-developed for the iPad by Impelsys, AAP’s eBooks technology partner and a provider of electronic content delivery solutions.
The AAP eBooks provides libraries, medical schools, hospitals and pediatric offices with instant electronic access to more than 100 renowned AAP publications, including full-text, visuals, data tables and clinical recommendations. With AAP eBooks, users can purchase and download any content from the entire collection of AAP digital titles like Pediatric Clinical Practice Guidelines & Policies, Bright Futures, Pediatric Nutrition Handbook, Red Book Atlas, and Caring For Your Baby And Young Child: Birth To Age 5.
