The Publications Division of the American Chemical Society (ACS) has announced Dr. Wonyong Choi of Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) as the inaugural editor-in-chief of the journal ACS ES&T Engineering.
Choi is head of the division of environmental science & engineering at POSTECH in Korea. His research areas are focused on semiconductor-based photoelectrochemical systems and environmental chemical processes to address various aspects of environmental and energy-related issues. Choi has previously served as an editor for the Journal of Hazardous Materials from 2008 to 2017 and as an associate editor for Environmental Science & Technology (ES&T) since 2017.
ACS ES&T Engineering will build on the strength of its parent journal, ES&T, the most-cited journal in its field. ACS ES&T Engineering will begin to accept submissions this spring.
