The American Diabetes Association (ADA), a nonprofit health organisation, has announced an agreement with event archiving solutions provider Conference Archives, Inc. (CAI), US. Under the deal, ADA's event knowledge will be delivered to a global audience through CAI's platform, Ekatius. This includes abstracts, posters and oral presentations captured from ADA's annual Scientific Sessions meeting held in June each year, as well as ADA Research Symposia and Postgraduate Courses held throughout the year.
The Ekatius platform has advanced search functionalities that allow users to look for event knowledge either within a specific event or across several events. Additionally, secure online workgroup functionalities in Ekatius facilitate communication and collaboration.
In combination with the cardiology event knowledge in Ekatius, the ADA event knowledge provides clinicians, researchers and students worldwide with a cross-disciplinary view of the latest advancements and research focused on diabetes and cardiovascular disease. These two disease states are associated with a high incidence of morbidity and mortality affecting millions of people in both developed and developing countries.
