Author services provider American Journal Experts (AJE) collaborated with the Carlos Chagas Institute (ICC/Fiocruz), located in Brazil, to provide an educational webinar to authors in March 2018. AJE works with authors around the globe, both individually and through institutions and organisations and supports them in the publication process through webinars, seminars, and a suite of author services.
This webinar was given as part of ICC's event, the Academic Journey. The webinar focused on the past, present, and future of scholarly publishing and reviewed major milestones and trends within publishing. Topics such as open access, preprints, and publishing fees were discussed.
Among the various activities at ICC is the Academic Journey, which is the main annual scientific event. This year's edition of ICC's Academic Journey featured the American Journal Experts (AJE) webinar, addressing the past, present and future of academic publishing.
