This guide provides tips for communicating with authors, shares information on setting author guidelines, and recommends best practices for setting ethical policies for the journal.
The guide also provides worksheets to help editors implement the suggestions more easily. The worksheets include a sample submission checklist that journals can use for authors, email templates to help with author communication, and a template for an ethics statement that journals may use.
