American Medical Association selects CCC’s RightsLink for copyright permissions -

Non-profit copyright licensing solutions provider Copyright Clearance Center, Inc. (CCC), US, has announced that the American Medical Association (AMA) has implemented RightsLink for all AMA medical journals. This includes AMA's flagship journal, the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA).

RightsLink is CCC's point-of-content licensing tool. It enables rightsholders to offer re-use and other permissions at the point-of-content wherever the content resides, whether on a website, mobile application or third-party aggregator.

CCC is a global rights broker for the world's most sought after materials, including in- and out-of-print books, journals, newspapers, magazines, images, blogs and ebooks. Founded in 1978 as a not-for-profit organisation, it provides smart solutions that simplify the licensing of content that lets businesses and academic institutions quickly get permission to use copyright-protected materials, while compensating publishers and content creators for the use of their works.
