Atypon, a provider of software to the publishing and media industry, has announced that the American Public Health Association (APHA) has selected Literatum as its new publishing platform. APHA is the publisher of the American Journal of Public Health.
The American Public Health Association claims to be the oldest and most diverse organisation of public health professionals in the world. Through its flagship publication, the American Journal of Public Health, the Association communicates the latest public health science and practice to members, opinion leaders, and the public.
Using Literatum, the APHA will deliver enhanced topical collections of articles culled from the Journal. It is expected that these subspecialty entry points will make it easier for public health professionals to find information most relevant to them. In addition, current book titles from the APHA Press will be available online for the first time.
