The American Society of Nephrology (ASN) recently launched a mobile edition of Kidney News through the Apple Store. The society contracted The Sheridan Press, a Sheridan Group company, to create the edition and manage the upload through Apple.
Kidney News is a monthly news magazine that examines research findings and policy changes, pinpointing emerging trends in industry, medicine, and training that impact practitioners in kidney health and disease. The Mobile Edition of Kidney News is a free download through Apple. Once downloaded, it provides access to all subsequent issues as well.
Sheridan's Mobile Edition service is available to journal, magazine, book, and catalogue publications. Features include active URLs and phone links; ability to view publications online or download to mobile devices; page view and article text-only view; social share capability; full search capability; subscription management tools; automatic 'new issue' alerts that appear on mobile device upon issue release; auto archived past issues; and compatible versioning for both iPhone and iPad.
