Kozlowski is a professor of organisational psychology at Michigan State University and a former editor of APA's Journal of Applied Psychology®. He also served on APA's Task Force on Replication and Data Sharing.
Kozlowski's theory and research are focused on the design of active learning, simulation and synthetic experience to develop adaptive skills; systems for enhancing team learning and team effectiveness; and the role of team leaders in shaping team development. In addition to the Journal of Applied Psychology, Kozlowski serves or has served on the editorial boards of the Academy of Management Journal, the Academy of Management Review, Human Factors, the Journal of Management, Leadership Quarterly, and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes. He is also editor of the Handbook of Organizational Psychology, the Organizational Psychology Series, and the SIOP Translational Science Series, published by Oxford University Press.
