The American Psychiatric Association (APA) Publishing has expanded its digital offerings with a comprehensive back catalog spanning the past 40 years, providing clinicians, mental health professionals, residents, researchers, and students in psychiatry and allied fields with seamless access to hundreds of titles.
The newly launched collections include all APA titles published in 2023, 2022, and 2021, now available through PsychiatryOnline—the platform that also houses the DSM-5-TR® and APA Publishing journals. By integrating these collections, the website enables users to search books and journals from APA Publishing in a single location, enhancing discoverability and accessibility.
The 2023 Book Collection includes titles such as Decoding Delusions: A Clinician’s Guide to Working With Delusions and Other Extreme Beliefs, Applied Epigenetics for Mental Health Professionals, and the Pocket Guide to Emergent and Serious Adverse Events in Psychopharmacology. The 2022 collection features works on late-life depression, autism spectrum disorders, and the DSM-5-TR® diagnostic exam, while the 2021 collection covers topics in women’s reproductive mental health, psychiatric hospitalist careers, and mental health education and advocacy.
In addition to recent publications, APA Publishing has introduced the Books Legacy Collection 1984–2020, comprising over 320 titles, including foundational works such as Clinical Laboratory Medicine for Mental Health Professionals, Psychodynamic Psychiatry in Clinical Practice, and the Textbook of Medical Psychiatry.
These digital packages provide full-text access with features such as direct chapter viewing, PDF downloads, integrated references, and streamlined navigation. Covering a broad range of topics including psychopharmacology, neuropsychiatry, personality disorders, and mood and anxiety disorders, the collections offer a valuable resource for mental health professionals seeking authoritative content.
