Ex Libris®, a ProQuest company, has announced that New Zealand's Ara Institute of Canterbury has gone live with the Ex Libris Alma® library services platform, which, together with the Ex Libris Primo® discovery and delivery solution, is facilitating the management of Ara's wide range of electronic and physical resources.
Ara Institute of Canterbury sought a new cloud-based and future-proofed system that would handle both electronic and physical assets and support the various acquisition methods that the Institute employs. Ara anticipates that the Alma platform will simplify and centralise the management and control of electronic and physical resources as well as improving access to resources.
In addition, the Alma Analytics module will facilitate the tracking of resource usage, enabling the Institute to evaluate its collection and report on the library's impact on student success.
