The Association of Research Libraries (ARL) invites libraries to join the global assessment community of LibQUAL+ by registering for the 2014 LibQUAL+ survey, which will feature several enhancements.
When the LibQUAL+ survey year opens in January, the team will introduce a mobile version of the survey. LibQUAL+ survey respondents will be automatically directed to the appropriate version of the survey based on the width of their browser window, so libraries will not need to distribute multiple survey URLs. The survey platform will also generate QR codes to use in promoting the mobile version.
In response to another popular request, LibQUAL+ will be piloting the ability to add institution-specific local questions in early 2014. New participants may register by e-mailing LibQUAL+. Participants will receive access to an array of assessment resources, free training, and timely delivery of survey results. Past participants may register on the LibQUAL+ website and may be eligible for discounted fees.
As a benefit of registration, participants are able to view results for all libraries participating in the same survey year. For access to the full set of survey results from 2000 through 2014, institutions may purchase an annual LibQUAL+ Membership Subscription for $1,000.
