The Association of Research Libraries (ARL) is offering a series of webcasts on how to improve library services using LibQUAL+ survey data and other evidence. Join Sarah Murphy, coordinator of assessment for The Ohio State University Libraries, and Rachel Lewellen, assessment librarian at University of Massachusetts Amherst, for the fourth webcast in this series, Libraries That Learn: LibQUAL+ Confidential Pilot Experiences, on September 22, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. eastern daylight time.
LibQUAL+ is a rigorously tested survey that measures library users' perceptions of the quality of service at their library. More than 1,300 libraries have implemented the survey since 2000. The LibQUAL+ Confidential service allows libraries to send targeted reminders only to potential participants who have not responded to the survey. Murphy and Lewellen will discuss their experiences administering LibQUAL+ Confidential surveys at their libraries.
LibQUAL+® is a suite of services that libraries use to solicit, track, understand, and act upon users' opinions of service quality. These services are offered to the library community by the Association of Research Libraries. The program's centerpiece is a rigorously tested web-based survey paired with training that helps libraries assess and improve library services, change organizational culture, and market the library.
