The American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) has launched ASA PLUS, a subscription-based, on-demand video platform developed in collaboration with Evermed. The service provides anesthesiologists with year-round access to ASA’s conference education content and original programming. Both ASA members and non-members can subscribe.
ASA PLUS consolidates educational materials from the ANESTHESIOLOGY® annual meeting and ASA® ADVANCE events, along with a growing catalog of ASA Original videos. These videos are designed to address clinical priorities identified through member research. The platform features curated playlists, AI-driven recommendations, and compatibility across desktop, mobile, and tablet devices. Continuing medical education (CME) credits can be earned while viewing, with automatic tracking to simplify reporting.
ASA leadership indicated that the platform reflects the society’s commitment to providing flexible, high-quality education that meets the demands of anesthesiologists’ daily practice. They noted that ASA PLUS offers a modern alternative to traditional delivery methods by making content accessible at any time. Evermed’s leadership emphasized that the collaboration combines ASA’s established authority in anesthesiology education with a personalized, technology-driven interface designed to help clinicians stay current.
ASA PLUS is now available as a subscription service, offering anesthesiologists continuous access to educational resources throughout the year.
