The Asian Journal on Perspectives in Education (AJPE), a peer‑reviewed open‑access journal published by Far Eastern University (FEU), has been indexed and abstracted in 16 national and international databases.
AJPE was already included in platforms such as Google Scholar, EBSCOhost, ResearchBib Academic Resource Index, Andrew Gonzales Philippine Citation Index, BASE, Philippine National Library, Scilit, Crossref, Dimensions, Index Copernicus, Semantic Scholar, and J‑Gate. It has now expanded its reach with inclusion in four additional databases: Directory of Open Access Scholarly Resources, Open Academic Journals Index, WorldCat, and EuroPub.
The journal’s editor‑in‑chief, Dr. Rosarito T. Suatengco, noted that indexing in 16 databases represents AJPE’s sustained effort to align with international publishing standards. She emphasized that the milestone reinforces the journal’s commitment to accessible, high‑quality research supporting inclusive and equitable education.
AJPE’s integration with Crossref ensures permanence and citability through Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs), while indexing in platforms such as Dimensions, Semantic Scholar, and WorldCat enhances discoverability and citation potential.
Beyond indexing, AJPE continues to invest in editorial development and researcher support through initiatives such as the AJPE Writeshop Series, research webinars, and mentorship programs. The journal also uses the Open Journal Systems platform to maintain transparent and efficient publishing workflows.
This achievement underscores FEU’s broader commitment to research excellence, internationalization, and open knowledge dissemination, positioning AJPE as an increasingly recognized platform in the global academic publishing landscape.
