The Association of American Publishers (AAP) has announced the 101 finalists and 37 category winners for the 49th Annual PROSE Awards, recognizing excellence in professional and scholarly publishing for works published in 2024.
The 37 category winners will now advance to compete for the Awards for Excellence, which include:
• Excellence in Biological and Life Sciences
• Excellence in Humanities
• Excellence in Physical Sciences and Mathematics
• Excellence in Social Sciences
From these four, one work will receive the R.R. Hawkins Award, the PROSE Awards’ highest honor. Finalists and category winners represent a broad spectrum of academic disciplines, highlighting the depth and impact of scholarly publishing.
