Atypon, a provider of software to the publishing and media industry, has announced that the Literatum publishing platform is now used to host more than 11 million articles.
Atypon passed 10 million articles hosted by Literatum seven months ago. The growth is driven primarily by the addition of new publisher clients; a small portion comes from clients' back file digitisation efforts and organic growth.
Literatum enables publishers to maximise the discoverability of their journals, books, reference works, databases, and other types of content, and to implement new business models, all with easy-to-use tools, backed by business and technical support from Atypon.
