Information services provider Atypon Systems, Inc., US, has announced the launch of a refreshed website for US-based non-profit publisher Annual Reviews.
The new website, www.AnnualReviews.org, is powered by Literatum, a platform used by professional and scholarly publishers to manage, deliver and monetise their digital content. It includes innovative features that make it easier for researchers to find principal contributions in their field and stay up to date with new developments. These include the ability to quickly preview an article's figures from tables of contents, search results, and most popular content pages; tag-along navigation that keeps an article's figures, references, and related content visible while moving through the article; and snippets from cited Annual Reviews articles that accompany the references, giving insight into the context of the citations.
Annual Reviews provides the worldwide scientific community with a useful and intelligent synthesis of the primary research literature for a broad spectrum of scientific disciplines. Its publications are among the most highly cited in scientific literature as indexed by the Journal Citation Reports (JCR).
