Atypon powers the New England Journal of Medicine -

Atypon, a provider of software to the publishing and media industry, has announced that Literatum, its flagship platform for professional and scholarly publishers, is powering the new digital presence for the New England Journal of Medicine.

The New England Journal of Medicine claims to be the most widely read, cited, and influential general medical journal in the world. The journal is also the oldest continuously published medical periodical. More than 600,000 people in 225 countries reportedly read NEJM each week, the majority of them online.

Featuring an all-new design with enhanced navigation, the new NEJM.org is rich in content and features. Additions include 19 new specialty pages, innovative education and training tools, and the complete NEJM Archive, which includes every article NEJM has published, dating back to 1812.

Literatum is a leading platform used by professional and scholarly publishers to manage, deliver and monetise their digital content. Publishing organisations such as JSTOR, the American Chemical Society, de Gruyter, and Annual Reviews are using Literatum to provide controlled access to journals, books, reference works, and other types of publications.
