Ex Libris, a ProQuest company, has announced that the State Library of New South Wales (NSW) in Australia has gone live with the Ex Libris Alma library management service, Primo discovery and delivery, and Rosetta digital asset management and preservation. With these three solutions, the library now offers its large user community a world-class discovery experience.
Through the integration of Alma, Primo, and Rosetta with the State Library's Axiell Adlib software, the library is able, for the first time, to consolidate all of its published content and original, digitised, and online materials, thus bringing to fruition a key element of the library's Digital Excellence Program.
Any user can now search across the State Library's rich collections of books, journals, and primary materials, including ephemera, large photographic and art collections, historic objects, maps, and manuscripts, within a single interface. The experience will be further enriched as more materials are migrated to the new platform, such as the recently digitised oral history collection.
