Aviation Week names new Editor-in-Chief of Overhaul & Maintenance -

Aviation Week, part of The McGraw-Hill Companies, US, has announced that Frank Jackman, former editorial director at Overhaul & Maintenance (O&M), will be transitioning to a new editorial process management position. He is succeeded by Lee Ann Tegtmeier, the new O&M editor-in-chief who will lead the editorial vision, strategy and efforts for O&M and all Aviation Week MRO coverage.

Jackman joined Aviation Week in 1987 and was most recently editorial director of O&M and the World Aerospace Database. In his new role, Frank will lead editorial process management projects to maximise efficiencies by applying Lean Six Sigma processes to editorial operations across Aviation Week.

As managing editor of O&M and now, as editor-in-chief, Tegtmeier has covered aviation maintenance for many years and has been an aviation journalist since 1991. In 2002, she won the Royal Aeronautical Society's Aerospace Journalist of the Year Award in the maintenance category, and has been a finalist in other years. She successfully launched the MRO blog on AviationWeek.com in 2006, and serves on Aviation Week 's MRO Conference editorial boards, which plan and produce events in the US, Europe, Asia and the Middle East that attract more than 10,000 attendees each year.
