AVMA unveils revamped website for veterinary medicine’s leading scientific journals -

Veterinary medicine’s most trusted scientific publications are transforming—and the evolution has begun online. Inspired by feedback from its members and journal readers, the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) recently launched a newly designed website for its educational journals, adding features to make the site more practical, easier to access and simpler to use.

The all-new AVMA journals website provides online readers of the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association (JAVMA) and American Journal of Veterinary Research (AJVR) with improvements such as one sign-in link that simultaneously provides access to journal content and avma.org; more user-friendly navigation; great mobile experience; intuitive design; and enhanced search that lets readers find and filter content by topic or author.

The website redesign is just one of the many ways that the AVMA journals are evolving to support veterinary medicine’s ongoing needs and deliver even more diverse content that’s accessible and relevant. Inspired by ideas from readers, JAVMA and AJVR will implement wide-ranging changes throughout 2022, including scheduling changes to get leading research into readers' hands faster, real-time digital-first reporting of news for the profession, and articles and special reports focused on clinical applications. No matter what species readers work with, they will see increased emphasis on the clinical situations they deal with in their practices every day.

These changes will deliver more of what readers have said matters most: relevant content, readability and a great digital experience.
