BioMed Central journals indexed by PsycINFO and The Philosopher's Index -

Open access publisher BioMed Central, US, has announced that the American Psychological Association has accepted eight BioMed Central journals for inclusion in its abstracting database PsycINFO. PsycINFO is an abstract database of psychological literature from the 1800s to the present. An essential tool for researchers, it contains bibliographic citations, abstracts, cited references, and descriptive information to help users find what they need across a wide variety of scholarly publications in the behavioral and social sciences.

The psychiatry journals accepted for inclusion are: Annals of General Psychiatry; Behavioral and Brain Functions; BioPsychoSocial Medicine; BMC Psychiatry; Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Mental Health; Clinical Practice and Epidemiology in Mental Health; International Journal of Mental Health Systems; and Philosophy, Ethics and Humanities in Medicine.

In addition, Philosophy, Ethics and Humanities in Medicine has also been accepted for inclusion in The Philosopher's Index, which lists over 600 journals covering all aspects of philosophy.
