BioMed Central launches new journal - Basic and Clinical Andrology -

Open access publisher BioMed Central has announced the launch of a new journal - Basic and Clinical Andrology, a continuation of the French journal Andrologie, previously published by Springer. This open access journal will present innovative research covering all aspects of male reproductive and sexual health, with the hope of bringing light to clinical advancements and research developments across the global research community.

Not only will Basic and Clinical Andrology offer the new aspect of freely available research, but it will also extend internationally by publishing in English with French abstracts to coincide. As with the journal's previous incarnation, Basic and Clinical Andrology will be affiliated with Société d’Andrologie de Langue Française (SALF), the French-speaking Society of Andrology.

Roger Mieusset, Head of the Male Sterility Centre in the Reproductive Medicine ward at the university public hospital in Toulouse, France, will serve as the Editor-in-Chief of the journal.
