Open access publisher BioMed Central, UK, has announced the re-launch of the Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology (JASB) as an open access journal. First established in 2010, the journal has reportedly achieved considerable recognition from scholars in the field.
JASB is supported by the Chinese Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine and it will cover the article-processing charges (APCs), levied for each accepted article, for all authors. It will continue to deliver a selection of original research, reviews, methods, short reports, letters and protocols.
Defa Li professor of Animal Nutrition and Nutritional Evaluation of Feed, Dean of the College of Animal Science and Technology at China Agricultural University, serves as Editor-in-Chief of the journal.
