BioOne has announced the addition of Insect Systematics and Diversity (ISD) to the BioOne Complete collection for 2023. This is the fifth journal to be included from the Entomological Society of America (ESA), one of BioOne Complete’s most highly-read and cited publishers. ISD will include all issues from v.1 (2017) through the present, and complement the aggregation’s more than 208,000 articles and 1.6 million pages, growing each year.
With this addition, BioOne Complete will offer 218 full-text journals from 156 leading scientific societies and independent presses around the world. This includes critical concentrations in core subject areas such as entomology, biodiversity conservation, and zoology, as well as essential coverage of interdisciplinary topics like climate change, invasive species, and agriculture and plant sciences. Within BioOne Complete, 74% of titles have Impact Factors and 61% of current titles are available in full-text XML exclusively through BioOne.
BioOne Complete is available via annual subscription, with an average per-title cost that is 93% less than the average title in biology. BioOne also offers the BioOne Complete Archive for one-time purchase, offering flexibility for library partners. The 2023 title lists for both options and other librarian resources are available for download on the BioOne Complete website at bioone.org/title-lists.
