Bioscientifica, the non-profit publishing arm of the Society for Endocrinology, has announced the forthcoming launch of Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism Case Reports. The new open access product will publish and link together case reports in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. The resource is owned by Bioscientifica and endorsed by collaborating societies worldwide.
Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism Case Reports will be led by Dr Maralyn Druce - Clinical Reader in Endocrine Medicine and Consultant in Endocrinology, St Bartholomew's Hospital, London. An editorial board is currently being recruited.
Case reports on common and rare conditions in all areas of clinical endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism will be published, with the broad scope including articles reporting unusual symptoms, novel treatments or key findings that shed new light on the possible pathogenesis of a disease.
The publication will be open access, providing authors with rapid dissemination of their work and ensuring that users have free, unrestricted and immediate access to the latest high-quality, peer reviewed reports.
