Bloomberg BNA, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bloomberg, has published the June 2013 Edition to Patent, Trademark, and Copyright Laws, which contains all the changes enacted into law through May 1, 2013. The latest edition fully integrates the provisions of the Act into the U.S. Code sections of this book, providing helpful visual guides that will aid practitioners in understanding the law and when provisions will go into effect.
The myriad provisions contained in the Leahy-Smith America Invents Act (AIA), which was signed into law in September 2011, will have profound effects on attorneys and inventors for years to come. Patent, Trademark, and Copyright Laws, June 2013 Edition, with CD-ROM, fully integrates into Title 35 the many important changes to U.S. patent law set forth in the Act, including those effective March 16, 2013, such as changes to provisions implementing the 'first-inventor-to-file' system.
