BMJ Group and SNIS launch new neuroscience journal -

Medical information publisher BMJ Group, UK, and the Society of NeuroInterventional Surgery (SNIS) have launched a new neuroscience journal - Journal of Neurointerventional Surgery (JNIS). BMJ will publish the journal on behalf of the SNIS, formerly the American Society of Interventional and Therapeutic Neuroradiology, through its Affinity brand.

Affinity provides a complete publishing service for professional medical groups and learned societies, ranging from business development, through editorial support, to sales and marketing.

This is the first US title to be published through Affinity, which provides a complete publishing service for professional medical groups and learned societies, ranging from business development, through editorial support, to sales and marketing. The move follows growing professional interest in neurointerventional techniques for the treatment of a range of neurological and vascular problems, including potentially life-threatening conditions, such as stroke, aneurysms (weakened and enlarged blood vessels), brain tumours, and spinal compression.
