Publisher BMJ Group, UK, has announced that BMJ Case Reports, a peer reviewed specialist online title published by BMJ Group, has won the Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers (ALPSP) Best New Journal 2010 award.
Launched in 2008, BMJ Case Reports has the largest single collection of medical case reports to be found anywhere on the web. It boasts almost 2000 contributions from over 70 countries, featuring common and rare conditions in every discipline.
ALPSP is an international association for scholarly publishers, with 360 members in 36 countries. In making the award, the ALPSP judging panel considered a range of factors, including the launch, market research, editorial strategy, marketing and commercial success.
