BMJ Quality enjoyed double gold-winning success at the 2014 E-Learning Awards, scooping two of the top prizes - most innovative new learning product and best online distance learning programme.
Held at the Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square in London's Mayfair, the evening celebrated the best of e-learning that is taking place across the globe. Over 500 people attended the gala event where 55 gold, silver and bronze awards were given out.
BMJ Quality is an online workspace which supports individuals through healthcare improvement projects and onto publication. It provides learning modules, tools and resources to make healthcare improvement simple.
The team's work helping frontline healthcare staff to get involved hands-on in quality improvement secured the award most innovative new learning product. The judges said it 'enables healthcare staff to not only to rapidly learn about quality improvement but also to speedily share their own innovations with their peers across the world.'
Best online distance learning programme also went to the team for 'opening up the field of healthcare quality improvement beyond academia and managers.'
