BNA Books brings out 10th edition of Patents and the Federal Circuit -

BNA Books, a division of specialised news and information publisher BNA, has announced the publication of the 10th Edition of Patents and the Federal Circuit. This treatise claims to be the most complete commentary available on Federal Circuit decisions and their effect on patent law.

The monumental reference deals with both the high-profile cases and the 'uncelebrated decisions' that tend to slip under the radar and fits them into an analytical framework that reveals their true significance. Patents and the Federal Circuit addresses ever-changing issues and developments in substantive patent law, infringement litigation, and procedure.

The latest edition covers all the Federal Circuit decisions through the end of calendar year 2010. Among other notable developments, it explores the Federal Circuit's decisions in i4i v. Microsoft, SEB v. Montgomery Ward, and Stanford v. Roche, and the issues currently pending before the Supreme Court in these cases; continuing developments in the standards for injunctive relief following the Supreme Court's eBay decision; the state of false patent marking litigation in the wake of the Federal Circuit's Stauffer and Pequignot decisions; and willful infringement after the Federal Circuit's en banc decision in Seagate.
