The British Veterinary Association and BMJ have announced the appointment of award-winning health journalist Adele Waters as editor of BVA's journals - Veterinary Record, In Practice, Veterinary Record Open and Veterinary Record Case Reports.
Responsible for delivering content across all platforms, Waters will oversee the weekly Veterinary Record and monthly In Practice, as well as leading and managing the editorial production team. She will join Veterinary Record at the start of February 2017 most recently from her position as Executive Editor for the Health Service Journal, where she managed and delivered major projects and editorial initiatives.
The new appointment follows the retirement of Martin Alder in December after 26 years in the post.
