The Coalition for Diversity & Inclusion in Scholarly Communications (C4DISC) has reaffirmed its commitment to equitable access, diversity, and inclusion within the publishing industry. Now supported by over 40 member organizations and adopted by 160 partners, C4DISC promotes practices that eliminate barriers, ensure fair opportunities, and foster an inclusive research ecosystem.
Key priorities include:
• Expanding diversity across publishing staff, volunteers, and leadership.
• Raising awareness of publishing careers among underrepresented groups.
• Strengthening accessibility and equitable treatment across scholarly communications.
The coalition continues to provide leadership and resources to help organizations implement sustainable diversity initiatives and ensure inclusive participation at all levels.
