The Coalition for Diversity and Inclusion in Scholarly Communications (C4DISC) will host a webinar on July 9, 2025, focusing on how publishers are integrating Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) alongside the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into their operations.
Wiley, Springer Nature, and ASCE speakers will share organizational approaches to embedding DEIA and sustainability in publishing practices. Topics include the role of DEIA liaisons, sustainability champions, and communities of practice in shaping editorial policies and operational strategies.
Moderated by Laurie Kaplan of Clarivate’s ProQuest, the session will explore how inclusive and sustainable publishing models can improve social impact, content diversity, and institutional resilience. Registration is free and open to all professionals in scholarly communication.
