Cabells has launched Journalytics STEM, a verified journal database designed to support publication decision-making for researchers and institutions. The product extends the Journalytics model used in Journalytics Academic and Journalytics Medicine to disciplines within Engineering. The database includes more than 7,800 journals across 26 STEM disciplines.
Disciplines covered include Geology, Chemical Engineering, Physics, and Mathematics. Journal data points are drawn from unique and licensed sources intended to assist users in evaluating publication options. The database provides structured metrics across multiple categories.
Included data points are:
■ CCI – Cabells’ influence score based on citations within a journal’s discipline
■ Altmetric – influence score based on digital impact measures
■ Scite_ Smart Citations – indicating whether articles are supported or criticized
■ Submissions – key data on acceptance rates and time to publication
■ Peer review – data on review processes and timelines
Access to Journalytics STEM will be available through subscription beginning Wednesday, February 18. The product will also integrate with Predatory Reports, providing access to two databases focused on research integrity.
