Content management and production services provider Cadmus Communications, a Cenveo company, has announced organisational changes within the Publisher Services Group (PSG). The move is designed to further strengthen the company's focus on publishers in the essential information markets. The announced changes elevate leaders with extensive backgrounds in meeting the needs of scholarly publishers.
John Grinnell, formerly Executive Vice President of Global Content Services, has been promoted to Executive Vice President of PSG. In his new role, John will be responsible for all content services, conventional print, and sales operations within Cadmus PSG.
The first of several changes to come under the strategic plan to further align Cadmus with its publishing partners is the repositioning of the content operations in Columbia, MD, as ‘The Publisher's Office.’ Debbie McClanahan will lead The Publisher's Office as Vice President of Publishing Services, reporting directly to Atul Goel, Senior Vice President of Global Content Operations & Technology. Debbie brings almost 40 years of market expertise.
The Publisher's Office will also be the central location of an R&D team of Publishing Workflow Analyst focused on creating innovative tools that allow publishers to be on the cutting edge of preparing and delivering dynamic content. Clark Lindsay will lead this team as Director of Publishing Technologies. Prior to joining Cadmus, Clark was Vice President of Operations for ATLIS Systems, Inc. He has more than 20 years of publishing technology experience working with such organisations as the National Library of Medicine, the American Chemical Society, AARP, IEEE, Hanley-Wood, the Library of Congress, Thomas Directories, and Thomson (Gale Research and Delmar).
