Cambridge Journals Online launches new API for developers -

A new Cambridge Journals Online (CJO) API means web developers can now use research data from across the full range of subjects on CJO for use in any appropriate software application.

The Cambridge Journals Online API programme has been launched in beta phase, making basic article information available for external development. In this period, citation and abstract data for all Cambridge Journals titles will be freely available. This beta period will invite interested third party developers to explore new uses for Cambridge content.

Cambridge University Press publishes over 300 peer-reviewed journals, including journals published on behalf of over 100 learned societies, which form the latest in research and discovery across a range of topics. Many of these journals are the leading academic publications in their fields and together they form one of the most valuable and comprehensive collections of research available today.

Across the world, Cambridge Journals are available in online and in print – keeping scientists, researchers and scholars abreast of crucial developments in research.
