The CLOCKSS Archive has partnered with Cambridge University Press to preserve their ejournals in CLOCKSS's geographically and geopolitically distributed network of redundant archive nodes, located at 12 major research libraries around the world. This action provides for content to be freely available to everyone after a "trigger event" and ensures an author's work will be maximally accessible and useful over time.
According to CLOCKSS Executive Director Randy S. Kiefer, by archiving with CLOCKSS, Cambridge University Press has ensured that the scholarship in their publications will be available for a worldwide audience now and in the future in a manner that secures them for the long-term good of scholars.
